Community Resource Center
After a devastating flood in 2010, the Community Resource Center in Nashville, Tennessee, wanted to make dramatic changes – all on a tight budget.
This lifeline for Middle Tennessee nonprofits provides household goods, furniture, and appliances to agencies and people in desperate need. CRC’s needs for their facility included new offices, a warehouse space and break room, plus a desire to launch the new service of offering computer training.
Street Dixon Rick provided all of CRC’s wishes in a design that supplied bright colors, efficient spaces (the conference room now doubles as a high-tech training room) and sustainable finishes throughout the interior spaces.
To assist CRC in their budget needs, SDR provided all design services pro bono with the total project cost, including all furnishings and finishes, coming in right on budget.
CRC is now brand new, better-than-ever and can continue their service to more than 80 nonprofit agencies that depend on the resource center for basic necessities for their clients in need.
