There's a bright future predicted for solar panels as an alternative energy source. (Pun intended.)

 

And in Tennessee there's renewed interest in this renewable resource as a part of innovative design.

 

This week Gov. Phil Bredesen announced his vision of creating a Solar Energy Institute.

 

Street Dixon Rick was asked to share our experience with solar panels on local TV.

The panels on our roof were installed about two years ago, quietly providing power on sunny days. The panels were produced in Tennessee, too.
