ANNOUNCES THREE NEW HIRES
Jacobs, Latham and Scherr Join Award-Winning Nashville-Based Firm
NASHVILLE, TENN, November 15, 2016 --- Street Dixon Rick architecture firm announces the addition of three new team members: Amy Jacobs, director of marketing; Rachel Latham, intern architect; and Shannon Scherr, interior designer.
Amy Jacobs joins Street Dixon Rick (SDR) as director of marketing. Bringing more than 10 years of editorial, branding and marketing experience with her, Jacobs will work to communicate the many stories of SDR to its various audiences. She was previously a marketing strategist for LifeWay Christian Resources.
“We are excited to have Amy join us,” said Baird Dixon, principal at SDR. “Her energy and enthusiasm for SDR combined with her keen interest in design and architecture make her a great match for our team.”
Rachel Latham joins the firm as an intern architect. A graduate of Auburn University, Latham holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree as well as a Master of Integrated Design and Construction.
“Rachel’s background in design, architecture, and construction positions her to approach projects holistically. The breadth of her skill set, combined with her energy and passion, enhances our team,” said Stephen Rick, principal at SDR.
A graduate of the University of Alabama, Shannon Scherr received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Environmental Science with emphasis in Interior Design.
“Shannon brings a fresh approach and unique perspective to the firm’s interior design work, and we are excited for her join our team,” says Rick. “Aside from the fact that she’s a great design talent, Shannon’s strong people skills and professionalism continue to impress me.”
